Elizabeth Mannshardt, PhD, joined 趣赢平台 in November 2024 as Vice President and Director, Statistics and Data Science, with over 20 years of experience as a statistician and data scientist in government, academia, and industry. Prior to joining 趣赢平台, Mannshardt served as the director of the Statistics, Methods, and Innovation Program at the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics of the National Science Foundation (NSF) leading a team of survey statisticians and methodologists conducting data quality assessments, survey design improvement, and information product dissemination for official federal statistics. Prior to NSF, Mannshardt was the acting director of the Information Access and Analysis Services Division in the Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Information Management where she led a team of data scientists and information technologists managing national and public-facing programs and services, including the design and buildout of the agency’s cloud-hosted data management and analytics platform. Her research and applied work include data product development, data quality assessments, survey statistics, extreme value analysis, spatial statistics, and scientific communication.
Mannshardt is an adjunct associate professor in North Carolina State University’s Department of Statistics and a member of the Health Effects Institute (HEI), Energy Review Committee. Mannshardt is an elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association (ASA). She currently serves as Vice Chair of ASA’s Membership Council and has previously served as the Chair of ASA’s Government Statistics Section and as President of ASA’s North Carolina Chapter. In addition to her extensive list of publications, Mannshardt’s expertise and insights have earned her invitations to present at key industry events, academic symposiums, and professional gatherings.
